Walnut Cocoa Date Bites
With a deep and dark cocoa flavour, these are well matched for the depth and strength of our Four Corners dark roast. Best served with a black coffee.
Ingredients
215G Dates
93g Walnuts
43g Dark natural cocoa powder
¾ tsp Dark natural cocoa powder
½ tsp Dark natural cocoa powder
42g Maple syrup
12g Cocoa powder (to roll)
Method
Step 1
Blend the dates until smooth. Chop the walnuts into small pieces, mix both together.
Step 2
Add the dark natural cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt.
Step 3
Blend the dates until smooth. Chop the walnuts into small pieces, mix both together. Add the dark natural cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. Roll into 18g balls and refrigerate to set. They can be rolled in cocoa powder, but over time it will absorb.
